WHO IS CIDESCO
Founded in 1946 in Brussels with our Head Office in Zurich, Switzerland, Comité International d’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie – CIDESCO is the World Standard for Beauty and Spa Therapy.
CIDESCO is a non-profit organization providing Swiss quality education. Our membership is open to the leading schools, colleges, beauty salons and spas of the world, and students looking to achieve a superior level of training and the CIDESCO Diploma qualification which is recognized worldwide.

CIDESCO, represented in over 40 countries, is known for its ability to open doors to a career worldwide thanks to its International Diploma and global membership.

RECOGNIZED PRIOR LEARNING
Professional Nail Services Diploma Program Overview
Nail professionals may receive a RPL-PN or Post Graduate Diploma if they have at least three years of professional experience, complete the CIDESCO Training Prep Course and take the CIDESCO examination.
Candidates must also provide:

Diploma of the school they attended for the nail technology program.

Letter from their employer(s) verifying three years of full-time employment in the nail technology field.

Active nail technician or manicurist license for the past three years.

Self-employed individuals must present a copy of an active business license for the past three years.
Candidates must apply to take the exam at least 4 months in advance and
complete the required CIDESCO Training Prep Course designed to prepare individuals for the CIDESCO exam.

The CIDESCO Training Prep Course prepares students to take the CIDESCO post graduate examination.

The course includes the CIDESCO history and the format of the examination.

Students are walked through the practical elements of the exam and have the opportunity to perfect
their techniques and prepare for the CIDESCO exam.

This course covers all aspects of the theory and practice required for graduates to carry out treatments in a safe, professional and competent manner.
This syllabus contains the minimum requirements for understanding and knowledge in order to pass the CIDESCO examinations.
