ADMISSION & ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
SCHOOL HOURS & CLASS SCHEDULE
DAY CLASS
-
Monday thru Thursday
8:45am to 2:30pm
300 Hours
Full Time
10 to 13 weeks
MAKING UP HOURS
-
As attendance and punctuality is extremely important, we understand that sometimes things can get out of our control.
-
If you miss a day, IBA give you the opportunity to make up any missing hours by attending to the alternate shift, this way you will avoid paying over contract fees.
-
Day students can attend night class as well as night class students can attend day class.
-
It’s a state law that all hours MUST be clocked in at school using the timeclock and we are not allowed to credit any hours if the student is not in the school premises and clocked in.
CLOSINGS & INCLEMENT WEATHER
-
IBA follows Spartanburg County Schools District schedule; we share the same holidays, school breaks, vacations and inclement weather.
-
We open all Summer Break, except the week of 4th of July.
-
For inclement weather closings and delays, follow Spartanburg County Schools, District 5.
START DATES
-
Class starts every 10 to 12 weeks, depending on the holidays and breaks.
-
Class starts the first or second Monday of every JANUARY, APRIL, JULY and OCTOBER
-
SC laws and regulations allows to teach up to 40 students, but we believe in quality, not quantity. Even though we can easily accommodate 30 we only enroll a maximum of 18 students per class, to facilitate learning and maintain the quality of our education.
TRANSFERING FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL
-
We accept transfer hours from almost any school in the state and/or out of state.
-
If you want to transfer to our school, it's a state law to have an official transcript from the school you attended, and the transcript must reflect active hours.
-
If the last day attended was more than 24 months, the hours are expired, and they will no longer be transferable.
ENROLLMENT
-
Enrollment appointments may take 20 to 30 minutes. We will discuss the payment options, schedule, school regulations, and answer any questions you might have.
-
If you choose us as your school, then you will fill out the enrollment paperwork, no need to make a second appointment.
