Institute of Beauty Artistry offers you the lucrative and unlimited opportunities business with the esthetics program that can be completed in 6 months or sooner, with our 450 hours curriculum, the minimum hours required by the State of South Carolina to be a licensed esthetician.

 

The esthetics field is in high demand nationwide and in less than 6 months you can graduate and start your exciting new career almost anywhere. Today there are more opportunities for esthetics graduates than ever before, including: private practice doctor offices specialize in skin care, plastic surgeons, etc.; spa facilities, wellness centers, hotels, resorts, and so much more. No matter which path you choose with the esthetics training, your possibilities are endless.

 

The esthetics program is structured to provide you with the latest information on skin care, including how to perform the most in-demand procedures and services. Our school is equipped with facial and skin care equipment which includes high frequency, galvanic, vacuum, steamer, wood’s lamps, aromatherapy, towel steamers, paraffin warmers and more. Students also get to learn additional techniques like body exfoliation and spray tan, as well as body sugaring, the latest technique in hair removal as well as chemical peels.

 

Students enrolled in the esthetics program will receive lecture and training from knowledgeable and skilled instructors that have industry related experience that they can share with the students on a daily basis.  Throughout the course, students will learn a wide range of services that they can take with them into their new career.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

CLASSES HOURS: Monday and Tuesday – 9am to 3:30pm 

LAB HOURS:  Wednesday and Thursday – 9am to 3:30pm

  • Lab hours are crucial to practice all the techniques you learned. The more you practice while in school, the better, secure and faster beauty professional you will be.  

The program has a maximum time to be completed, and the total amount of hours required by the course should be completed by that time. In the event that your still have hours to complete, you will pay the over-contract fees of $15 per each additional hour needed. When you enroll, we provide you with a graduation calculator and a yearly calendar that will help you keep track of your hours and avoid the over-contract fees.

 

IBA follows Greenville County Schools District schedule; we share the same holidays, school breaks, vacations and inclement weather. We open all Summer Break, except the week of 4th of July. For inclement weather closings and delays, follow Greenville County School.

STUDENT KIT

The esthetics kit provides all the tools needed to learn must of the techniques while in training.  The school will provide you with all the products needed to work with clients as needed. Some of our students choose to purchase their own kit with a specific skin care or make-up line of their personal preference. Additional items will be available for purchase as requested.   

 

PAYMENT PLANS

IBA offers flexible payment plans, and we work with the majority of students budgets. In most cases, students pay upfront for the admission fee, books and kit and the remaining balance is divided in weekly payments. Since we are a State Certified school, you will receive a 1098-T form by January 31 to claim your educational expenses refund with the IRS. Make sure to keep all the receipts for all your school supplies, materials, products, uniforms, etc.

 

FINANCIAL AID

IBA do not offer financial aid or any government funding at this time, but we are a Licensed and Bonded Private Beauty school, Certified by the State of South Carolina, Department of Licensing and Labor Regulations, Lic. # 1188

 

SCHOLARSHIPS

Because we understand that your money is important to you, we offer scholarships to students who qualified and only for the Cosmetology and Esthetics programs. We can help with scholarships up to $5,000, depending on the course of your choice and if you will be a full time or part time student. All scholarships are approved as first come, first serve basis and we can’t guarantee the approval. If approved, the granted amount will be applied to your tuition balance. If you are granted for the Scholarship, it is very important to maintain an excellent record of attendance, academic, clinics, payments and behavior.
