INSTRUCTOR TRAINING PROGRAM
Institute of Beauty Artistry offers the chance for you to get your instructor’s license right after you graduate and you can obtain your Instructors license in less than a year. With your instructor’s license, you can teach Cosmetology, Esthetics, or Nail Technology in public or private schools as well as teaching seminars to salons and spas for continuing education purposes. The instructor training program is a 750 clock hour program and can be completed in less than 30 weeks. Instructors and Educators in the beauty industry are in high demand everywhere and this is a great way to get your foot in the door in the field of teaching.
The instructor course will give you hands-on experience every day teaching students different practical aspects of their training. You will also get to develop and perform your own lecture to a class of students on a particular subject. You will learn how to make and develop lesson plans; learn classroom management skills, and other important and vital parts of being a professional educator.
Institute of Beauty Artistry often offers a special scholarship to pay in full for the instructor training program. The scholarship is granted exclusively to some of our qualifying graduates who kept an excellent record throughout the program. The qualities that we take in consideration to be able to grant a former student are being evaluated when the student start in our school since the first day. Character, Personality, Communication and Organization Skills are part of the qualities that we evaluate. In most cases, the instructor in training once graduated and licensed, will have the job opportunity at IBA.
